Today’s mission rip out the old Decking boards and expose the existing joists to see if it’s reusable.
Unfortunately for this client it’s beyond salvageable.
These joists are collapsing and rotten in many places , so this will also need to be taken up and disposed of and a new structural joist cassette put in its place.

Borough Green this week , And Wow it’s been a warm few days 🥵.. Existing glass Conservatory roof removed and a new timber roof installed. No more leaking glass and the added bonus of a new insulated roof, making this a habitable room all year round.. ✅ It’s A race against time before the dreaded storms hit.

WOW this job escalated quickly 😱,
What started off as a few rotten steps , moved quickly on to shuttering and casting a whole new complete set of concrete steps , that then lead on to the existing retaining timber sleepers being rotten, which ment a whole new retaining wall system.
Pulled out all the old vertical rotten timber sleepers and then installed these new concrete retaining walls…

🥵🥵really Heavy work but it’s done and i saved this client thousands of pounds £££ compared to the 3 other previous quotes…
