Another flat roof completed by CSJ Carpentry & Construction Ltd 🔨

This small flat roof was fully stripped back after uncovering SIX different roof coverings layered on top of each other 😳

Including:
▪️ Tarps
▪️ Holo clad
▪️ Roof felt
▪️ Another layer of holo clad
▪️ Old timber boards
▪️ Fibreglass roofing

Years of coverings laid over old coverings instead of being removed properly.

We stripped everything right back and installed:

✅ Brand new deck boards
✅ New EPDM rubber roofing system
✅ New fascias & guttering
✅ Clean modern finish
✅ Fully watertight roof
✅ 10-year workmanship guarantee

🔨 Kitchen Knock-Through & Structural Alteration – Penarth

Another job recently completed in Penarth, opening up this kitchen space and preparing it ready for the new kitchen installation.

The work involved removing a load-bearing wall, installing a steel RSJ beam, repositioning the rear window, and bricking up the old door opening with matching LBC brickwork.

The space is now fully opened up and ready for the kitchen fit.

Disabled adaptation completed by CSJ Carpentry & Construction Ltd

We’ve recently transformed an unused storage area into a modern, practical wet room designed to improve accessibility and comfort.

Works included:
✔️ Removal of internal walls
✔️ Battened external walls with vapour barrier and insulated plasterboards (including ceiling)
✔️ Slate roof repairs
✔️ Plaster finish to ceiling and porch area
✔️ White glitter shower panels fitted to all walls
