Another great project wrapped up for a Stockton based landlord 👏🏡☀️

Over the past few months, we’ve delivered energy efficiency upgrades across more than two dozen properties for the owner. As part of the project we have installed solar PV ☀️, electric storage heating 🔌 and upgraded insulation 🧱🏠

The impact has been huge! 📈 Average EPC ratings have improved from Low E before works to High C on completion — a positive change in performance.

Even better, tenants are expected to save an average of £643.60 per year on their energy bills 💷, alongside warmer, more comfortable homes 🏠✨

A fantastic result for not just the landlord but also the occupants for many years to come! 🙌🌱

Myth Buster ~ The answers to the questions we get asked the most!

Myth 1: “Only homeowners can apply.”
Truth: ECO4 is available to both homeowners and private tenants, as long as the property qualifies and the tenant or homeowner meets the eligibility criteria.

Myth 2: “You have to pay the money back.”
Truth: ECO4 funding is a government-backed grant, not a loan. You do not need to repay the cost of the energy efficiency upgrades if you're eligible.

Myth 3: “It's only for people on benefits.”
Truth: While many on certain benefits do qualify, some households can be eligible even without benefits—for example, if your home is energy inefficient or you have a low income under the “flexible eligibility” rules.

Myth 4: “The work will disrupt my home for weeks.”
Truth: Most ECO4-funded improvements, like insulation or heating upgrades, are completed in a few days with minimal disruption. Installers aim to be efficient and tidy.

Myth 5: “You only get insulation, nothing else.”
Truth: ECO4 covers a wide range of improvements, including:
