Kitchen trends have definitely changed this year 😊

People seem to be moving away from the grey kitchens and going for warmer, more homely colours instead. We’re fitting lots of mushroom tones, warm creams, sage greens and natural wood at the minute and honestly they look gorgeous once they’re finished.

We’re also seeing more pantry cupboards, quartz worktops, brass handles and little features that make kitchens feel less “showroom” and more like a proper family home again 🏡

I think after a few years of everyone wanting everything ultra modern, people just want cosy and practical now but still stylish.

We love seeing all the different ideas customers come up with and helping bring them to life 😊

Well… this absolutely made our day 💚

A huge thank you to Wayne for such a lovely review. We never take this kind of feedback for granted and it really does mean the world to us.

We’re just a small, family-run team who genuinely care about doing a good job and looking after people properly, so hearing this makes all the early starts and long days worth it.

💙 Feeling Really Proud Today 💙

We’ve just read a lovely update from Linx Youth Project about a Spotlight story on Match My Project, about the work being done and its honestly…given
us a bit of a lump in the throat.

Seeing this project talked about in that way really brings home why we wanted to get involved in the first place. This wasn’t just about fitting a kitchen — it was about helping create a space where young people can feel comfortable, learn practical skills, talk, laugh, work together and just be themselves.

The article highlights exactly what Linx is all about: real support, real opportunities, and genuine care for local young people. We’re so glad we could play a small part in that by transforming their kitchen into a space that can be used every day for cooking, learning and bringing people together.

We’ve shared some before and after photos so you can see the transformation for yourself — but the real impact is what happens in that room going forward.

💙 A Little Follow-Up on a Job That Really Meant Something to Us 💙

We wanted to share a quick follow-up on a kitchen we’ve just finished for Linx Youth Project — and honestly, this one has been really special.

What was once a very tired, well-used kitchen has now been completely transformed into a bright, clean, practical space that the young people can really enjoy using. Seeing the difference from the before photos to the after makes us so proud — not just of the finish, but of what the space will be used for.

This kitchen isn’t about being fancy. It’s about giving young people a safe, welcoming place to learn a bit of cooking, have a chat, work together, and build confidence. Kitchens naturally bring people together, and knowing this one will be part of that every day means a lot to us.

We were also really touched by the thank you card and lovely messages we received from the Linx team. Those words genuinely mean the world and remind us why we love doing what we do, especially when it’s right here in our local community.
