After a disaster with our Indoor plant stand yesterday morning in the winds I was very overwhelmed to find a bag with some beautiful donated crocheted plant pots!

We have some exciting news! 👀
Canalside Plant Swap Shop will be sponsoring a sensory garden for dogs at The Dogs Paddocks Middlewich field 2, one of the secure dog fields local to us, and definitely Buddy’s favourite place for a refreshing dip!
The planters are now constructed thanks to Mr DIY and will soon be in place with lots of lovely dog safe plants for them to enjoy sniffing! We will also be planting some edibles like strawberries, rocket and lots of herbs too!

A big thank you for today, to Home Grown in Holmes Chapel, Mad About Mint and Rod's Secret Garden in Northwich

We love a good plant swap, and on behalf of both groups below. We will be chopping, propping and splitting more plants, ready for more swaps too.

Are just getting all their seeds ready to send out to people, we have sunflowers 🌻, wildflower-seed-mixes, and lots more on the way. (Please think of us if you have a surplus of seeds)

On Booth Lane Middlewich, there are lots of plants to swap, open Friday/Saturday and Sundays. Please check page for more info.

Today we got vegetables, flowers, herbs, lots of different mints, indoor and outdoor and everything in between.

I also got a few for my own garden including some iris, and this lovely shrub, thank you so much 😊

The generosity and general feel for both events was absolutely brilliant. I was made to feel very welcome, and met some lovely people. Thank you everyone who chatted with me, I really appreciate all the love today ❤️
