Self-employed groundsman/second climber, to be involved in a broad spectrum of work from domestic tree surgery through to woodland work, based in Midhurst West Sussex.

We are looking for someone with the necessary qualifications, tickets and enthusiasm to join the team. A valid driving licence and own transport essential due to location.

A reduction from this week on this veteran oak tree that unfortunately lost the central stem last autumn leaving it unbalanced and out of shape. we reduced it to the most suitable growth points to try and give it a better Form and prolong its life, perfection is not always possible in these instances but it’s nice to retain trees rather than remove after failures like these
