After weeks of just rain, we finally have some sunshine. Gladiolus are one of my favourite cut flowers and so easy to take care off. I really do nothing with them. The colour below is the black jack.

The next flower is the tiger flower. (Tigridia pavonia)

also known as painted daisy, is a fast growing, showy annual with almost succulent leaves. It's ideal for adding height to borders, and makes an excellent and long-lasting cut flower.

*Flowering mid summer to fall.
*Annual half hardy
*Likes lots of water in well drained soil.
* Full sun
*Winter care: let it die back and life out. Cutting all the way back and placed in dry soil on a box/pot in a frost free place. Plant back outside in may.
