Our customers back garden view had been cut off substantially due to the placement & height of the original fence. The customer had lost around 1.5 metres of land. Upon further inspection, we found that there was a gully on the other side of the fence. We moved the fence & cut it down to 4ft. We then fitted a drainage supply, wrapped the drainage supply in membrane & layed a bed of shingle around it, finishing it off with top soil. The view afterwards speaks for itself on this job 👌 A huge amount of work went into this & the customer was very happy with the end result 👍

Customer wanted a new fence due to privacy reasons. The garden was home to their chickens, as well as other animals. Passers by could see right in due to the dip in the original fence. We erected around 16 metres of feather edge fencing, and hopefully provided both the customer & their animals with the privacy they were looking for 👍

A well known church in the Woburn Sands & Aspley Guise area (St Michael’s Church) had a real problem with the top step on the exit staircase & the wall that supports it. Both had deteriorated substantially & needed urgent attention. One minor foot misplacement could have been very dangerous, especially in the winter months.

Getting hold of like for like slabs on a building that was erected around 1868 wasn’t easy. Many thanks to Brian West & Sons for providing me with the slabs seen in photo’s. We patched up the wall as best we could & upon removal of the old slabs, we found a huge hole in the supporting structure which required filling in extensively.

A problem shared, is a problem halved 👍 We really enjoyed our time on this job & we are grateful that DS Fencing & Landscaping were given the opportunity to help out where we could. As a small business, trust is earned, not immediately given!

DS fencing & landscaping primarily concentrates on hard landscaping projects however, we have decided to broaden our scope & we are now taking on soft landscaping projects also. Our customers old rotten decking was in urgent need of removal. With a young family wanting to be able to play safely in the garden, we knew just the right solution. We ripped out the old decking & replaced with enduring grey riven slabs. We decided to install sleeper planter beds to give the customer the option to plant flowers, giving their garden that final touch 👍

We didn’t manage to capture a before picture on this job but just to give you an idea, the whole garden required a large scale dig out. Our customer wanted an area to relax and get the most out of the Sunshine, and a separate area for evening entertainment. We decided to run with a 2 Tier design.
