🌱 New Series: Why Passivhaus Certification Matters 🌱

As we count down to our presentation at the Passivhaus Workshop on 24th April at TThe National Self Build & Renovation Centre we’re launching a short series exploring why aiming for Passivhaus certification truly matters.

Too often, projects “pick and choose” a few Passivhaus features — but without the full, integrated approach, the comfort, health and energy‑saving benefits simply can’t be guaranteed. Over the coming weeks, we’ll break down the common misunderstandings and share why a certified Passivhaus is so much more than the sum of its parts.

We am pleased to share that we are currently seeking a technically accomplished Architect to join our growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on carefully considered, high-performance domestic projects, including Passivhaus new build and retrofit schemes. It will suit someone who is confident in technical delivery, enjoys close coordination and site involvement, and is motivated by the challenge of delivering genuinely low-energy buildings.

Experience in building physics and PHPP would be advantageous; however, we are equally interested in individuals with the aptitude and ambition to develop further in this area. Within a small practice environment, there is meaningful responsibility, influence and the opportunity to shape how sustainable architecture is realised in practice.

November has already been a busy month for us, with the Passivhaus Open Days and the launch of the new Retrofit Zone at the The National Self Build & Renovation Centre. We were thrilled to welcome so many visitors to our Parklands EnerPHit Plus project here in MIlton Keynes.
