The play equipment that we selected allowed for group activities and for many users to be able to access the equipment together with varying levels of challenge. We carefully selected equipment made from steel with rubber wet pour surfacing that incorporated sea themed graphics to make the area more accessible and to minimise future maintenance.

Yesterday the sun ☀️ was shining for Talbot Road playground opening.

Goodie bags, raffle prizes, activity games and ice cream 🍦 were enjoyed by all whilst visiting the new community outdoor spaces.

Charnwood Borough Council partnered with Loughborough University, the top sporting university in the world, to develop a new KOMPAN community fitness zone suitable for all abilities and ages.

They both approached KOMPAN to explore options for improving an underused fitness facility in their busy town centre park which would remain alongside.

The provision of these new and exciting fitness units provides exactly what both the council and university had hoped for. The site has seen a huge footfall since its installation, with well attended classes being run by the council.
