My garden is a small botanical collection
With over 80 different plants.
🌴 Exotic architectural plants – Tetrapanax rex, Trachycarpus fortunei, Yucca rostrata, Musa basjoo, Colocasia, Tree Fern, Pseudopanax crassifolius, Kalopanax septemlobus, Fatsia polycarpa, Phyllostachys vivax (Bamboo), Aeonium, Aloiampelos striatula, Rodgersia ‘Bronze Peacock’, Zantedeschia (Calla Lily) and Baloskion tetraphyllum (Tassel Cord Rush).
🌸 Flowering shrubs and climbers – Wisteria ‘Kimono’, Rosa banksiae, Passionflower, Akebia, Clematis, Bottlebrush, Fremontodendron, Jasmine, Fuchsia, Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’, Daphne, Syringa (Lilac), Garrya elliptica (Silk Tassel Bush) and H**e.
🌳 Woodland and specimen trees – Davidia involucrata (Handkerchief Tree), Catalpa (Indian Bean Tree), Foxglove Tree, Albizia julibrissin, Star Magnolia, Pleached Hornbeam, Willow, Yew, Eucalyptus, Sambucus, Juniper and Acer.
🌺 Herbaceous perennials and cottage garden favourites – Delphinium, Crocosmia, Dahlias, Geranium, Verbena, Kniphofia (Red Hot Pokers), Lavender, Acanthus, Euphorbia, Hosta, Violet, Persicaria ‘Purple Fantasy’, Sorbaria (False Spires), Napaea dioica, Delosperma, California Poppy and Begonia.
🌿 Ground cover and foliage plants – Ajuga (Bugle W**d), Creeping Thyme, Periwinkle, Trifolium ‘Angel Clover’, Mahonia, Pittosporum, Sedum and Virginia Creeper.
🍓 Fruit, edible and useful plants – Fig Tree, Blueberry, Strawberry, Loquat, Punica granatum (Pomegranate), Citrus trifoliata, Mint, Coriander, Sage, Rosemary and Lemon Balm.
