🏡✨ Home Renovation in A Conservation Area ✨🏡

This historic home is undergoing an incredible renovation, and the progress is already remarkable!

Previously, the downstairs layout was compartmentalised, making the space dark and inefficient. Given the home is shaded on most sides, introducing natural light was a key challenge. By carefully considering the details and opening up the ground floor, we’ve uncovered an entirely new home—one filled with natural light and brimming with period features. The downstairs will become a contemporary yet characterful open-plan space that respects the home’s history while working within its limitations to enhance the overall design.

Upstairs, subtle but strategic changes have fundamentally improved the layout, restoring the home’s original grandeur while enhancing its functionality.

The client is making fantastic progress, and I can’t wait to see our collaborative vision come to life even further!

We’re delighted to announce that work is officially underway on this challenging project following a successful Planning application! Designed for a lovely couple with mobility concerns, this 1980s house will become a modern, accessible sanctuary.

✨ Key Features:
- Thoughtful rearrangement of spaces to create a functional, accessible layout with new staircase and Master Suite.
- A stunning new orangery to bring in natural light and connect with the garden.
- A stylish side extension for added space and comfort

Nomad is thrilled to see this transformation of a 60 year old bungalow into a modern, functional home for a young family. Through a rear extension and smart reorganisation, we unlocked a more efficient and practical layout to suit their daily life.

- A light filled dining space and kitchen extension that connects with the garden and rural landscape beyond.
- Thoughtful built-in storage that makes the central hallway functional and stylish whilst capturing views of the garden
- A new bedroom and en-suite
