Steel day. Big milestone on this extension project.

The structural frame is now going in and the shape of the new spaces is starting to come together. A lot of groundwork, planning and prep goes into getting to this point — now the build starts moving fast.

A recently completed ensuite.

We can't take credit for the colour scheme on this one – the customer chose all the sanitaryware, tiles and finishes – but we think they've got great taste.

Really pleased with how this turned out, especially the green glazed tiles, patterned floor and black fittings.

Good progress made over the last couple of weeks on this large extension and renovation project.
Foundations are now in, substructure brickwork is well underway and levels are starting to come together across the site. A huge amount of work goes into these early stages before anything visible starts appearing above ground level.
We are now preparing for the next major phase of the project and awaiting the structural steel installation. Looking forward to seeing this one really start taking shape over the coming weeks.

Footings going in this week.

After strip out and setting out, we’re now into foundations — trenches excavated, inspected and concrete being poured.

Getting this stage right is critical.

Everything that follows depends on these foundations being accurate and solid.

This extension is now well underway — with demolition complete and the new footprint set out ready for foundations.
Every line here dictates where the new structure will sit, so accuracy at this stage is key before we start digging.
Big changes coming on this one.

We’re now into the strip-out phase on this extension project.

Roof opened up.

Structure exposed.

Everything taken back so we can rebuild it properly.

It’s the messy stage most people never see — but it’s what sets the standard for everything that follows.

Due to an increasing workload, Forest Built Ltd are looking to add a full-time member to our team.
We carry out a wide range of residential building work including:

• Extensions
• Full renovations
• Bathrooms & wetrooms
• Roofing and structural work
• General carpentry and building

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid all-round building experience
• Takes pride in high quality workmanship
• Is reliable and hard working
• Works well as part of a small team
• Has their own transport

Most of our work is based in the Forest of Dean/Wye Valley and surrounding areas.
