A large room with two distinct areas and no obvious answer.
The main space needed to feel cosy and considered rather than vast and empty. The smaller adjoining area needed a purpose that made sense for the way the family actually lived.
The floorplan was where we found it. A proper living room with everything positioned to draw you in and make you want to stay. And behind it, a sunroom looking straight out to the garden. Somewhere to sit with a coffee, watch the seasons change and simply breathe.
What looks like a drawing becomes a furnished room. The furnished room becomes a rendered space. The rendered space becomes a home you can see yourself living in before a single decision has been made.
That is the process. And it starts with the floorplan every time.
If you are planning a renovation or new build, save this and come and find me. π€
