I have been getting a lot of interest recently regarding regrouting or resealing in the shower area, and truth be told I love doing these jobs! 😂

90% of the time when grout starts to wear and attract mode it’s due to the cleaning products used on the grout such as bleach, which will actually remove the protective film from the top layer of the grout and attract more bacteria. It’s essential to keep on top of wiping down the shower after use to prevent mould spores from gathering and eating into the silicone or grout, and well ventilate the bathroom.

If your shower is needing resealed or regrouted then please don’t hesitate to reach out and I can have a look and give you a free quotation.

Thanks
Kieran

This bathroom was in need of a wee update and with lino floor down the customer was finding it difficult to clean and felt dirty due to be in from the previous owner. I set out and used 6mm cement boards to glue and screw to the floorboards and lay these nice marble effect tiles finished off with gunmetal grey grout and the bathroom looks so much brighter and modern now 😁

Kitchen splashback finished in these stylish patterned tile from topps tiles. The previous tiles had to be removed, old adhesive scraped, extractor fan disconnected and the wall primed prior to laying the new tiles. I’m loving doing these larger format tiles for kitchens just now ☺️

It’s been quiet over here for a while but I have been working hard in the background! With the arrival of my daughter at the start of the year and balancing the 2 jobs I’m looking forward to some time off for the rest of the year, so my diary is open from the middle of January so if there’s any work your needing done please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Thanks

A couple of jobs finished off recently with the first one having the old wall and floor tiles removed then new cement boards laid down and the shower area waterproofed before laying down the new 600x300 tiles.
The second job was a customer who only had a bath installed in the guest bathroom and wanted a shower installed too, so the paint was stripped back and waterproof membrane applied before the new tiles were laid and sealed up ready for the guests to use.

A couple of tile repair work done recently. First photos are tiles that were moving excessively and on first inspection looks like plywood has rotted away and started to flex so the floor will be changed in the near future. Tiling on plywood is very rare to see nowadays as if there is a leak it doesn’t soak in water at all and will just rot away over time.
The second photo is a chipped tile which actually happened with a glass jar which surprisingly never smashed 😂

If there’s any tiling work your needing done please feel free to message the page and I can give you a free quotation ☺️

Was good to get some decent dry days recently to get this porch and steps finished off. The previous tiles had been removed and adhesive chipped and grinded back then primed ready to be tiled with red quarry tiles. The porch looks much cleaner and brighter and ties in brilliantly with the customers new front door 👍

These tiles were fitted to a newly decorated bathroom however with them changing their minds with paint on the walls they decided to go with tiles instead and they look class. After sanding the paint and priming the walls the tiles were laid in brick bond effect to ceiling height.

A change in tiles for this kitchen brightening it up after the old tiles became abit boring and dated over time. The old tiles were stripped, walls primed and levelled over and these Mediterranean look tiles were fitted.
If you’re looking for any tiling work, please don’t hesitate to contact the page for a free quotation.
