Thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday at Mitcham Community Orchard & Gardens for our lovely sunny open day! 🌿☀️😊

It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces enjoying the orchard, the nature activities and simply relaxing in our beautiful green oasis!

A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers who helped make the day happen, including providing the delicious homemade food and refreshments 🍓🍰

It's so nice to see the community garden at Canons House & Grounds really starting to come to life now spring is here 🌸🌿

Join us on Saturday 9 May at 10:30am for a relaxed volunteer session. We’ll be replacing the woodchip mulch and helping keep the garden healthy and thriving.

No experience needed. Come and meet some lovely people and enjoy a bit of fresh air 🌼

🧤 What to bring:

Gardening gloves (if you have them)
Weather-appropriate clothing
A willingness to get involved

Join Sustainable Merton at our new creative 2-part workshop where you can learn how to turn old t-shirts into yarn, and then crochet your own functional bowl 🧶✨

Learn how to transform a t-shirt into yarn + get started with crochet
🧺 Part 2 – Saturday 9th May
Build on your skills and create (and hopefully finish!) your crochet bowl
