🌸🌿 May is the perfect month to breathe new life into your UK garden! 🌱✨ Here are some plants to get started with:

1. Lavender - For fragrant blooms and bee-friendly vibes.
2. Tomatoes - Ideal for sunny spots and fresh summer salads.
3. Marigolds - Bright and cheery, plus they deter pests.
4. Herbs - Basil, thyme, and rosemary thrive now.

Happy gardening! 🌻🍅🌼

1. 🌸 Plant summer bedding plants for a burst of color.
2. 🌿 Keep on top of weeding to maintain a tidy garden.
3. ✂️ Prune spring-flowering shrubs once they’ve finished blooming.
4. 🐛 Keep an eye out for pests and diseases, and take action if needed.
5. 🌱 Mulch flower beds to suppress weeds and retain moisture.
6. 💐 Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers.
7. 🥗 Start harvesting early crops like salad leaves and radishes.
8. 🌼 Feed container plants to keep them healthy and blooming.
9. 🥕 Sow seeds directly into the soil for vegetables like carrots and beans.
10. 📅 Plan ahead for late summer and autumn by sowing biennials like foxgloves and wallflowers.

When to water your lawn:

1. Water your lawn early in the morning or in the evening.

2. Watering your lawn in the morning helps in preventing fungal diseases and evaporation.

3. Don't water your lawn in the middle of the day.

How to water your lawn:

1. Water your lawn slowly and deeply. Water for around 15-20 minutes or until the water penetrates around 6 inches deep into the soil.

2. Water only when your lawn needs it. We haven’t had any rain in a while now so it’s important to keep on top of your lawns.

3. Use a sprinkler system or a hosepipe with a sprinkler head. Spread the water evenly so that no area is under or over-saturated.

4. Watering 2 to 3 times a week is generally sufficient to maintain a healthy lawn; however with the current weather you could increase this if time allows.
