In 1888 in the small Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh, John H Pye set up in business as a casement maker. By 1906 when he published a new catalogue he was able to boast a wide range of contracts for his gun metal, bronze and leaded glazing. From these beginnings were laid the very strong foundation upon which today’s company is based. Down the century the ownership of the business changed as the

Pye family line passed on, but the traditions of the metal window company craftsmanship and quality endured. In 1957 the company became known as the Cotswold Casement Company affectionately known locally as ‘Casements’ and today is the oldest manufacturing company in the town. As in 1888 the company remains in private ownership providing both personal commitment and a sound financial base.

The best windows don't always demand attention.

In period properties, keeping frames slim allows natural light, architecture and the surrounding landscape to take centre stage.

Designed to complement the character of the home, these bespoke steel windows frame uninterrupted views across the Cotswold countryside while preserving the property's timeless charm.

Early blacksmiths used flat strips of wrought iron to hold small panes of glass together, giving flat iron windows their distinctive name.

This stunning flat iron window was fully refurbished by hand in our factory before being carefully installed at this beautiful property.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered. Our client chose beautiful dual butterfly handles with backplates, paired with a RAL 1015 Light Ivory finish.

Every detail matters.

Each flat iron window is carefully sealed by hand, a process that requires precision, patience, and craftsmanship to achieve a flawless finish.

It’s these small details that make all the difference.

Part 2 is coming soon, where we’ll show this window being fitted. Follow along to see the finished result.

Bringing the outside in. 🌾 There’s something special about seeing natural light transform a space, especially in a barn conversion where character matters just as much as openness.

For this project, our bespoke steel windows and doors were designed to maximise light while complementing the aesthetic of the building.

The result is a space that feels brighter, and more connected to the landscape outside, while still retaining the bold architectural character that makes barn conversions so unique. ✨

🌷 We are currently running a Spring Promotion which is ending soon! If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to elevate your own space, this is your sign. Secure your project before our seasonal offer wraps up. ⏳

From factory floor to feature piece.👇

This bespoke internal arched steel door was handcrafted in our factory before being carefully installed in our client’s home.

Designed to divide the space while still allowing natural light to flow from one room to the next.

The final result transformed the hallway into a statement feature while keeping the space open and connected.

There’s something about spring light through steel-framed windows that changes a space completely.

This beautiful bespoke window, created by our team, stopped us in our tracks, not just for its scale, but for the softness of its curves and the way it frames the landscape beyond.

It inspired us to create a bespoke mirror for our showroom, echoing the original architectural detailing while bringing that same sense of light indoors.

A reminder that the best design often begins with timeless inspiration.

Whether inspired by heritage architecture or contemporary design, we can create almost anything in steel from bespoke windows and doors to one-of-a-kind statement pieces like this showroom mirror.

If you’re considering bespoke steelwork for your home, our team would be delighted to help bring your ideas to life.
