In September it will be 8 years since we had this concept. I was living in Australia at the time and never thought it possible to live on Koh Tao in Thailand. Its amazing how quickly life can change.

Simon Treselyan and Lisa Denholm do you guys fancy building this concept again. Only this time me and Lisa will coordinate from the said location :-)

Might take a year to pull off but once its done, it will be easy to do again... James Whittaker - Maybe something you would like to be part of too.

We could create workshops specific to industry and/or self development.

When I was serving with Royal Marines I was blessed to win the Welterweight Boxing Title before I earned my Green Beret. Not a bad effort for a 17 year old “useless hooligan” from the Shire in Scotland ☺

Weeks later I joined the Royal Marine Boxing Team and headed to Oakhampton in Devon for a training camp.

One of the first guys I met was Corporal Mark Time. He stood about four feet tall and reminded me of one from the guys from the Stoogies and had me laughing from the first time I heard his northern English accent string a few words together. A natural comedian and for sure one of the funniest guys I have ever met.

I went on to join the Navy Boxing Team and I suppose, began my life of obsessing over body movement and mindset training. Years later I joined 40 Commando and the very first person I was to meet was Mark Time. He gave me the ‘heads up’ instructions and my career with “40” began in “B Company”. I can tell you with my hand on my heart. Those were some of the funniest and happiest days of my life.

THANKFULLY!! Like so many of my other brothers, Mark Time has taken our funniest periods of our lives and captured them on paper. He has already given us Going Commando, which became a Best Seller, and now brings us:

“Going Around The Bend”
“Going All The Way”.

Please support our brave Veteran’s and help us make careers in the arts. Bringing Mark Time and his adventures to the Big Screen is the ultimate goal!

I am looking forwards to getting back to my home on Koh Tao next year. I love my gym, my family and training in the tropics!

I can almost create a full fist…come on Santa Claus bring me a full fist this Christmas so I can punch and get on the pads again next year!

Okay...this is a shot from the hip!

Is there any of you 33 friends still looking to find the perfect location to gain strength beyond your belief?

If so you are about to have your mind blown away and you didn't even know you were in on it...i have just realised it happened.

After a series of challenges that my life lay before me I had to personally leave the arena of aiding others in their own personal development because I was having to give all of my energy to my immediate situation.

Two years on, I find myself living on Koh Tao, the location of the Commando Makeover. I have a Roof Top Art Studio/Writers Workshop and Bar. We have a fully equipped Restaurant below in an amazing garden.

I have teamed up with Koh Tao Crossfit and built a Boxing Gym into the CrossFit Box. I am friends with all the owners of the top restaurants and resort owners.

There has never been a time to create a Commando Makeover...only this time it is going to be a whole lot different.

Now this time, I am also going to focus on War Veterans and giving them the opportunity to get back amongst the lads, share stories with no fear and get invaluable survival skills whilst living outside of the military and returning home after war.

The difference is though, this will not only be a course they can get on, it will be a whole family adventure and wifes, mums, dads, brothers and sisters are all welcome in this rebuilding our warrior families and defeated su***de amongst our troops.

You are witness to this brainstorm which is now my mission....comments and encouragement always welcome.
