So this job, 3 doors and 28 windows has taken 12 months to complete.
First of all the existing mastic surrounding all the window and door frame needed removing and replacing with a traditional linseed oil based mastic and left to dry for a year.
12 months later I've returned to paint over the new mastic, doors, windows with an oil based mahogany woodstain. Looks great!

Some before and after photos of a recent job in West Vale. A large living room 6m W x 6m L x 4m H with orignal plaster ceiling rose and coving. Significant cracks ran across the ceiling, down the walls and through the coving all of which needed repairing. Cold and damp spots on walls also required specic treatments.

Colours on walls and ceilings by Dulux; Village Maze, Willow Tree, Apple White.

Radiators painted Anthracite satin.

Wood, coving, picture rail, skirting boards, water based Brilliant White satin
