One of many happy customers this week!

The virginia creeper had grown way out of hand and needed to be cut back. I left the main stem as I thought it would grow back into a nice shape and cleared the roof of overgrowth.

I love a good before and after! 🍂

Honeslty landed with this little area I planted today! Some of the area was overgrown with weeds and ferns so after being removed the new plants went in 🌿🏵
Should be a lovely view for the family!

Edging to be used in the future too which will improve it again 🙂

Thought this rose was dead a few months ago because the stems were brown (it has been left bare root for too long) . The roots felt healthy (anchored well into the compost and wouldn't move when I pulled with moderate force), same with 2 fuschias, so I thought id leave them in and give them a chance to recover and theyve all grown back!❤️

Moral of the story: if in doubt, give the plant a gently tug and if theres a lot of resistance give it a chance. If it just comes right out its dead 🙂

Lovely little job from earlier in the week; we planted 7 pots of oxeye daisies in front of this fence to create a screen 🌿🌸 I cant wait to see it fill out!

Last year I offered a free service to the 300th person to like the page.

Today I created a bed ready for planting, then removed a fern and bramble which the customer is replacing with roses 🌹 (fantastic idea)

So this is a very exciting morning at BGS! I've finally finished pulling up turf and turning over the soil to transform it into a wildflower patch!😍 I can't wait to see them sprouting up 🌱🌼🏵

Second photo was taken a few weeks back because I absolutely love the white rabbit and variegated Photina (I'd never seen one before!)

Some photos of recent jobs, leading with the beautiful Dota!🐈‍⬛

2 & 3. A Camelia and a few Fuschias were removed to make space for flowers, perfect for homemade bouquets!💐

4. A customer asked me to jetwash her patio as there was a significant amount of algae. Currently thinking about investing and adding it to my services. What do you think?

5. Tidying and lowering a hedge amongst other things in the same garden (I need to remember to take more 'before' photos!)📸

8. Ivy job finally finished! There's a lot more light reaching the garden and the customer was pleased with the outcome.

9. New garden started and it is absolutely beautiful! The area shown had multiple species growing into each other, so I spent time removing excess material in order to create shape and focus 🌳🌿

Today was my first proper, full-time, self-employed work day and it was absolutely fantastic.

I worked in one of the most diverse and dynamic domestic gardens i think I've ever stepped foot in (area worked on today is but a small portion) and I did the first lawn cut of the year!💚
