LANDSCAPING IN RAKE NEAR PETERSFIELD

Old rotten sleepers have been removed and taken away and disposed of, the area then levelled off, A new oak sleepers retaining wall built to roughly the same dimensions, all sleepers fixed to 100mm posts that have been concreted into the ground with 200mm hexhead fixings, all backfilled now with topsoil to retain the fence.

PATIO & PAVING IN MEDSTEAD

New patio completed today in Medstead, the customer bought their own paving to match their existing patio, so i dug the area out and disposed of the waste, prepared the area, installed the scalpings & laid the slab on a solid bed of wet mix mortar, once laid and cut so there wasn't any crisscross's the paving was pointed in with easy joint pointing in compound.

DECKING IN HEADLEY DOWN COMPLETED

The existing rotten decking needed to be lifted as it was dangerous, a new 125mm x 50mm framework of pressure treated timber was made to fit the area, then the new decking has been screwed to the framework.

The existing path was lifted and the area then prepared ready for a new path to be laid, The customer chose these paving slabs to match their rear garden, finished off with fossil mint sandstone setts, 2 new recessed man hole covers were installed and the edges under the porch and around the air bricks was finished off with black ice stone chippings.

PATIO, STEPS & PAVING IN ALRESFORD

This badly laid patio needed to be lifted, so all the existing slabs were cleaned, lifted and stacked to one side, The existing dot & dab concrete and area dug out and prepared, including a new layer of type 1 and compacted, The existing slabs then laid in a more modern way of random laying on a solid bed of wet mix concrete, once all laid and cut the area was pointed in with easy joint & pushed tightly into the joints rather than just a quick brush in, new steps built and some repointing of existing brickwork, finished off with black ice stone chippings for the French drain.
