We're excited to see this Burton Joyce home transformation now taking shape on site.

The project includes a rear extension to create a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, a new master suite with additional ensuites upstairs, and the conversion of the existing garage into a self-contained annex. A covered BBQ area has also been introduced to connect the spaces together and create a fantastic hub for family life and entertaining.

There's always something rewarding about seeing a design move from drawings to reality, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the build progresses.

Windows are now installed! With the glazing in, we can finally start to see the contemporary form properly take shape on our project in Kirkby in Ashfield. The proportions are coming together and the light inside is already transforming the spaces.

There are still many details and elements to complete, but this is always the stage where it starts to feel less like a construction site and more like a home.

Looking forward to the next phases.

Planning approved in Oxton; within both the Conservation Area and Green Belt.

Not the easiest route, but the right one.

Our clients had outgrown their home, but they didn’t want to leave the village and community they love. So instead of moving, we focused on unlocking the potential of the home they already had.

By carefully navigating planning policy and respecting the character of the area, we designed a series of extensions that work together seamlessly:

A contemporary extension in West Bridgford designed to create a generous open-plan living and dining space, centred around light and connection to the garden.

The landscape design was just as important. By carefully working with the existing levels, we introduced stepped terraces and integrated seating to handle the changes in height effortlessly, creating a natural flow between inside and out.

Planning approved in Flintham for a series of barns and derelict structures - and today, we’re excited to share one of them with you.

This particular building had been left unused for years, but with the right approach, it offered a unique opportunity to create something truly special - respecting its rural character while giving it a new life.

We’re really pleased with how this one is coming together for a family in redmile.

A kitchen extension paired with a new side living space, opening onto a carefully considered courtyard.

The landscape design plays a key role - with dedicated areas for outdoor dining and a fire pit zone, creating spaces that can be used throughout the year.

The idea is simple: blur the boundary between inside and out, and make courtyard living feel natural and effortless.

Our clients bought a plot with an existing bungalow in a village in Grantham they had always loved, with a clear vision: to create their forever family home.

This was a deeply personal self-build.
The client, alongside his brother and father, built the house themselves - carefully following our concept to ensure every design intention was carried through.

The home centres around an expansive open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, with a separate living room and practical utility.

Upstairs, three vaulted bedrooms bring volume and character, with the master suite opening onto a rear balcony overlooking the garden.

A thoughtful, hands-on journey from concept to completion - and a home designed to be lived in for many years to come.

Although we’re often recognised for contemporary homes, we equally enjoy working on heritage projects within conservation areas.

A developer approached us after acquiring a site in East Drayton, looking to create five executive homes within the village’s conservation area.

We worked closely with the client, planning officer and conservation team to ensure the proposals respected local character, planning design guidance and heritage considerations - while also meeting the client’s economic targets.

Externally, the homes follow a traditional architectural language appropriate to the setting.

Internally, the layouts are more modern and flexible - designed to attract young families to the village and allow existing families to stay, rather than move elsewhere in search of their forever home.

A project about balance - heritage, viability and long-term community.

A great project now finished and handed over in West Bridgford.

The extension sits within what was once an underused part of the plot - now transformed into an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space for the family to properly enjoy.

What was secondary space has become the true hub of the home.

From initial design and planning, through building regulations and technical input during construction, we were involved at every stage to ensure the vision was delivered as intended.

It’s always rewarding being invited back once clients have settled in and we can capture the finished space being lived in.
