It’s going to be a hot one for our final week. The nursery will close for the summer break this coming Sunday 28th June. **** Please also note that we will also be closed this Thursday 25th June for the whole day - we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause ****

So, if you would like to stock up on anything please pay us a visit before Sunday.

We will have some extra special offers on this week, so it’s always worth a visit.

A surprise visitor to Octavia’s box. The barn owl visited on Friday evening and spent a few minutes scratching about.

It is possible that even whilst her 5 owlets grow in the barn owl box, she could lay another clutch of eggs in this box. Only time will tell!

Finally the sunshine we’ve been waiting for and we have some glorious baskets and planters for your summer patio. These are all we have now, and they’re magnificent.

Prices included with each picture. Special Offer prices on the planted containers. Most of the planters will drop inside larger patio pot without the need to repot, or leave them in the container they’re in and they will be great.

They’ll all last through until at least September with regular watering and feeding.

Open Wednesday to Saturday 09:30 until 17:00. Sunday 10:00 until 16:00.

A special offer and some colourful nursery pictures to brighten up a rainy morning today.

We have 8 Privet plants needing a new home, now at the bargain price of £25 for 8 plants. Privet makes a great evergreen traditional hedge and will establish pretty quickly.

The greenhouses look amazing 🤩. Surfinias are buy one get one free and we have plenty left.

If you’d like ready made planters and baskets we still have a good selection.

Do you remember the enormous Spider Plant we posted pictures of last year? We couldn’t resist planting up some of their offsets. They’re available for sale for £4 each.

Perfect for indoors or out. Ours lives outside on the patio all summer and comes inside to a frost free spot to over winter (that happened to be a shed with a large window last year, so not even indoors).

They’re remarkably resilient and great fun to grow.

The bigger the pot or basket, the bigger they get. It’s all in the looking after them. If you want them to remain small, keep them in a small pot.

Anyone thinking about planting a hedge?! We have a bargain for you.

We have about 40 Cherry Laurel plants available. They’re quite hungry, but once you’ve planted them in the ground and they start to put roots out, they’ll green up in no time and they’ll make a great hedge. They just want to be in the ground!

They’re in 2 litre pots and stand about 2ft to 2ft 6in high (60cm - 75cm) in the pot.

If you’d like them - some or all - please send us a message and we can have them ready for you. They’re not out on sale.

They would need to be collected in the next 7 days please.

They were £8 each in this size pot. They’re now £4 each or:

10 for £30.
20 for £40.
30 for £50.
40 for £60.

We are just working on emptying our polytunnel today, and are amazed at how many bees are buzzing around. They particularly enjoy the Salvias.

We’ve got quite a few left and have decided to put them on special offer! So if you have a pot, or a border that has some space, these would be a great addition to any wildlife friendly garden.

We still have three colour choices - Hot lips; Cherry lips and Amethyst lips.

They’re hardy perennials so they will come back every year. They like a sunny spot. We cut back in the spring before they start to grow and they’ll become a sizeable plant giving a summer full of interest.

They were £7.95 but are now 3 plants for £10 while stocks last!!!
