Update from East Bridgeford!

This home was already stunning, but now with the addition of our engineered timber flush casement windows and doors, it has elevated its beauty even further!

This has to be one of our favourite timber projects to date!

End of the week and a strong finish with this recently completed installation in West Bridgeford.

The brief was to open up the rear of the property and create a connection to the garden that felt natural and uninterrupted. Full width steel look glazing delivers exactly that. Slim sightlines, balanced panes, and a layout that brings real presence without over complicating the space.

Designed by AM2 Architects, the scheme centers around Origin Global OB36+ SOHO range of bi-folding doors in a khaki grey finish. The knurled handles are a great detail and lift the whole feel of the system.

Inside, the same language continues. The doors define the living areas while keeping everything visually connected. Light flows through the plan, front to back, giving the space a calm, open feel throughout the day and into the evening.

A well considered design, executed properly!

A different kind of client journey…

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting our Cambridge client at the spectacular Reynaers UK showroom in Birmingham.

With multiple sliding doors on this project exceeding 2.7m in height, seeing these systems in full scale makes a real difference. The showroom brings clarity to proportion, presence and performance in a way drawings simply cannot.

But for us, the day is never about selling.

It is about understanding how our client will live in their home. How the spaces will feel. How the doors will be used day to day. What matters most to them.

When you step back from pushing products and instead focus on people, something shifts. Conversations become more open, decisions become clearer, and the process becomes genuinely enjoyable.

That was reflected at the end of the meeting, when we were thanked not for a sales pitch, but for the experience itself.

Specifying high end glazing should feel exciting, not overwhelming.

In a market full of options, the real value lies in listening, guiding and delivering what the client truly needs.

Too often, that focus is lost.

At Lucent Glass, we make sure it never is.

Project update Lucent Glass Ltd

So we are within a whisper of the finish line on this commercial refurb project in Leicester.

A whole scope of work including acoustic specifications, aluminium double glazed windows, steel fire doors, 60minute fire rated windows and all of the aluminium panelling works.

We have surveyed each and every window, door and panel to fit within the existing structure. From a first glance it might look like they are all the same size but believe me it has been far from it!

With the client delighted with the results and performance of the team, we have just been signed up to the next building around the corner and another 300 windows, so will be updating on this as we go along.

Love a new build and its simplicity but also love being challenged with refurbs like this!

🚨 Another big lift at Beeston Fields!

Our team have been craning in some seriously impressive oversized flat fixed rooflights on this luxury property and the views were just too good not to share!

We install fixed rooflights at extreme sizes and handle the whole process from engineering to installation.

The building is now starting to close in as the triple glazing goes in and the transformation is really beginning to show.

Big effort from the lads as always 💪
