REMOVING A LARGE POPLAR TREE 🌳

The customer called me up with concerns that the poplar tree in his garden had gotten too big and its structural integrity was compromised.

After closer inspection we agreed to remove the tree for everyone’s safety.

NPTC (City and Guilds) qualified to carry out all tree works ✅

All green waste is chipped and donated to a local environmental group for using on footpaths ✅

All of the correct PPE and insurance ✅

One of the recent fencing jobs that we have completed.

The conifer hedge was dying and becoming difficult to maintain. So we installed a 2m tall feather edge fence with the sloping weather top posts facing into the customers garden so that they could train / grow native uk plants along it.

All of the waste was chipped by us using our own equipment and donated to FREG (Farndon Residents Environmental Group) to be used on footpaths and public walkways.

A recent fencing job we completed. The customer liked the privacy of the hedge but the maintenance was getting too much to keep on top of. So we removed the hedge and ground out the stumps using our stump grinder. We then put a run of feather edge fencing in with wooden boards at the bottom which are uc4 weather protected and post savers to prevent the posts from rotting at ground level.

A hedge reduction we have completed recently. The reduction was done because the trunks of the trees are slowly rotting and risked blowing over in the wind due to being so top heavy. So we brought it down to a much safer height which means there’s a lot less risk of any accidents or damages but the privacy hedge still remains. It was also preventing access for the customer having building materials delivered. ( The final tree in the 2nd photo was the original height of the hedge and has been left in place as the trunk was in the neighbours garden and they wanted to keep the tree as it was .)

Recently we removed a diseased apple tree that was not only diseased but the apples were causing a trip hazard to the customer. We then ground the stump away using our stump grinder and replaced it with a multi stem silver birch bringing a nice green back drop and a great privacy screen in future.

Another really nice transformation completed. Just in time for the family garden party the client was hosting. Using feather edge panels and weather top posts to prevent sitting water rotting the posts. We also used post savers where the posts go into the ground which prevents rot at ground level.

Another really nice job with a great finish to a busy week. We previously tried seeding the area but the sun, birds and weeds really affected its growth and visual appeal. So the customer asked us to turf the area using some top quality turf. So following the contours of the existing grass that’s exactly what we did.
