⭐️ We are back in the social media world after a challenging but very busy few months. ⭐️
Let’s update you!

We’ve just started on another large project involving all external works to a new country house.
Friday saw 43m (7 Pre-mix trucks ) of concrete fill our trenches ready for the block walls to be built next week.
A great team effort and satisfying end to the week 🙌

Yew hedging and occasional tree planting to a recent project on a crisp Winter’s day. With thanks to Jez and Lou.

Partial completion of an ongoing project.
The re-laying of a highly detailed and intricate courtyard to a listed property.

Elizabethan size bricks on edge in stretcher and herringbone pattern.
Tiles and pavers laid flat. Used York flag stones to both existing and former doorways.

All following excavations, new drainage scheme and sub-base.

“When it rains, it pours”

Nearing the end of a three month reconstruction project at a private local property.

Following extensive excavations the scheme primarily comprises Porcelain paving, steel edging, gravel, grass and tree pit positions. Siting of bespoke sculptures to follow.

The weather conditions over the last couple of weeks have made movement using diggers and dumpers tricky, however the end is now in sight.

Will update with photos once the project is complete.

Our 2019 BALI award was for the construction of a courtyard area outside a refurbished and extended kitchen to a country house.

Comprising of a terrace laid to the same level as the kitchen floor using natural Portland Stone with steps leading to further paved areas, brick features and resin bonded gravel paths. Building raised pool and attached rills, and planting of pleached trees.

Firstly, we are thrilled to announce winning another BALI National Landscape Award in the 2019 Awards!

The BALI prestigious landscaping Awards is the biggest in the industry calendar and celebrates the skills, hard work, quality, commitment and successes of BALI members.

We are very proud of this award and the project, and will follow with some photographs.

‘Every journey begins with a step’

One of our current jobs is for a client in Lambourn and includes the creation of York stone steps with brick risers and side walls.

York stone is a variety of sandstone, specifically from quarries in Yorkshire that have been worked since medieval times.
It’s known for its hard-wearing and durable qualities.
