Some shots from our visit last week to a UK Sandstone quarry that specialises in dimensional paving, flooring, walling, masonry, feature monolith stones and rockery. This blue stone has superb technical properties and will perform in the harshest of environments. Signalled by the lengthening days the time for garden improvement projects is fast approaching. It can be a daunting task deciding on a product that not only suits your aesthetic requirements but also will meet the demands of how you will use it. Basic considerations can be easily overlooked, for instance, do you have pets? Which way does the garden face? Is the area shaded by trees? And how easily will the product of choice be in respect of cleaning and maintenance? These are just a few of the questions that should be considered.
The Porcelain paving shown is our Apex Charcoal. Our customer originally considered a dark Limestone but after a series of detailed consultations this was the product decided upon as it offered a similar look but is UV stable and will not lighten with age. Also the benefits of easy maintenance will be clear to see.
