Last week I was in High West Jesmond painting and decorating this lovely living room. The ceiling and frieze were painted with Dulux Almond White Matt Emulsion. The coving and ceiling rose in Dulux Diamond Eggshell. All the the woodwork was painted with Johnston’s trade Aqua Gloss. The wallpaper was from John Lewis, a fine herringbone design.

Here are some photos of work completed in February. The Gosforth home is where I have decorated previously. This time was to repair and paint the bathroom ceiling and walls with Zinsser Perma-White, mixed in Farrow and Ball Wevet.
The boys bedroom was painted with Johnston’s Durable Matt, mixed in Farrow and ball De Nimes. Dulux Diamond Eggshell was used on all woodwork.

I’ve just completed this lovely town house in Great Park, which has 3 floors. The owner wanted to keep three walls white (B/W vinyl matt) and wallpaper the third. A granite effect wallpaper was chosen in different colours for the kitchen/diner, 2 bedroom’s, office and upstairs lounge. The two bathroom’s were painted with Zinsser Perma white.All wood trim was painted with Johnston’s trade aqua gloss.

Here’s a few photos of my work from last week. It was great to return to this lovely home in Gosforth. Farrow and ball colours Eddy and Strong white were mixed by Johnston’s and Armstead trade paints. Farrow and ball Elephants breath eggshell was used on the woodwork.
I just want to say a big thank you to all my customers this year, it’s been a pleasure working for you. I am now taking bookings from February 2024.

If you want a plain colour for your bedroom walls but the walls aren’t great like this property in Chaple House. I sanded and filled the walls before wallpapering with lining paper. I filled the seems to give a complete flat look. The customer chose farrow and ball skimming stone mixed by Johnston’s paint. The wood trim was Johnston’s b/w water based gloss.

I’ve recently painted and decorated at this house in Gosforth. In the bedroom Dulux Lavender quartz and Leyland b/w Matt emulsion was used on the walls and ceiling. Wood trim was painted in Johnston’s b/w water based gloss. The en-suite was painted with Zinsser prima white.
The second bedroom I stripped the old wallpaper, then painted the ceiling in Leyland b/w Matt emulsion. The customer bought the grey wallpaper from B&M. After wallpapering the wardrobes were painted with Frenchic al fresco dazzle me paint. To tie the look together I put grey fablon on the sink unit doors.

Here is a hall, stairs and landing I painted in Heaton. It was lovely to return to this property. The ceiling and walls (above dado rail) painted with Dulux b/w Matt emulsion. Below the dado rail is Crowns smoked glass Matt emulsion. The wood trim was painted with Johnston’s water based b/w eggshell. The spindles and banner rail were painted with Frenchic al fresco dazzle me paint.

I’ve recently completed these two rooms in Heaton. The ceilings and walls were painted Dulux B/W Matt emulsion and Crown Canvas white. The pine woodwork was primed with Zinsser Bin primer and top coated with Johnston’s water based gloss. Thank you for the lovely feedback it was a pleasure to work for you.
