A peaceful palette for a bedroom sanctuary 🌙

This is a great example of how I like to work; it mixes high and low (designer with charity shop finds, bespoke details with high street gems), interesting colour combinations, pattern and texture, second-hand pieces alongside new, plus a few creative curveballs - see framed antique linen and piano keys 🎹

An album to try and reflect how busy the last few weeks and months have been at Room Service. This has been a whirlwind of a year so far - exciting, fast-paced, hectic 😳 but massively rewarding.

Looking forward to a week OOO and recharging the 🪫 ready for MUCH more on my return.

The joy of using old/existing pieces and giving them a new life is so satisfying.

Here we scaled back the heaviness of the old red curtains but included a section of the fabric for a contrast detail in a new and improved window treatment.

Thought this was a timely example (on Earth Day today) to remind myself how rewarding it is to reuse - even if it’s this small - and that it always leads to creating something unique!

We went big on colour in this kitchen and adjoining pantry adding immediate character. By highlighting the cabinetry and going for a bold drench in the pantry we changed the feel of the spaces entirely, mostly through the power of paint 💙❤️
