✨ Feature Wall Spotlight ✨

A closer look at one of our favourite details from this bathroom renovation.

The wood-effect slat feature wall creates a stunning focal point around the bath, but it’s the small details that really make the difference. Instead of simply finishing the alcove with a cut edge, we incorporated a mitre return into the top of the recess. This allows the slatted panels to wrap neatly into the alcove, giving the feature wall a continuous, seamless appearance from every angle.

It’s a more time-consuming process, but details like this elevate the finished result and give a truly bespoke feel.

We’re looking forward to sharing the completed bathroom once all the finishing touches are in place!

We’re delighted to hand over this stunning modern bathroom, finished with a luxurious marble-effect tile, elegant brushed brass details, and a striking blue feature wall to bring a touch of personality to the space.

🔧 Floor Tile Prep Done Right 🔧

Another project underway in Newcastle and this one is all about getting the preparation spot on before the tiles go down.

This floor needed some serious prep work — we first had to chisel off the old adhesive to get back to a solid, clean base. From there, we installed decoupling matting, reinforced key areas, and ensured the surface is level, solid, and ready for long-lasting floor tiles.

Proper prep is the most important part of any tiled floor — skip this step and problems are almost guaranteed later.

At ASP Installations, we don’t cut corners. We make sure every floor is prepared correctly so your tiles look great and stand the test of time.
