Glass going in at High Street West in Sunderland, dramatic difference to the spaces that had been shuttered and dark for so long!

Interesting visit to Temple Newsam recently with phase 1 nearing completion, and discussions on airtightness detailing for this Passivhaus scheme. It was great seeing the classroom spaces starting to take shape, and blue sky visible through the rooflights!

just doing what they do, so brilliantly. A warm, witty and immersive experience this evening, featuring ducks and several hundred other players. I even spotted a couple of Architects. Well worth a visit this weekend- photos just don't do it justice.

A brand new shopfront sneaking out behind that scaffold line. Brilliant to be on site and seeing the incredible changes to this once forgotten building. Soon to be a talking point in the Sunniside neighbourhood!

Today we had the opportunity to attend the formal opening of Middlesbrough Central Library with the client team and celebrate with funders . It was incredible to see the full library in operation with families and other visitors enjoying the building as intended, and what better week to do it than around World Book Day?

A splash of colour appearing on the end of the old Tyre Shop in Sunderland. Ties in with the re-appearance of the sun in our skies for once! The building work is progressing and will soon be a new home for Sunderland Quakers. Supported by funding

Finally found 'the Bearpit' yesterday, where the technical magic happened- a complex system of sluices, redirecting water to power Comford Mills. Not so easy to find in Cromford village!
