August has proved the busiest month of the year so far, most projects coming from recommendations. Now is the time to get plans drawn so you are ready to go in spring 2019.

A quote from a client in Heaton after receiving their drawings last night after a turn around from survey to full construction issue of less than 1 week.

"Thanks Andy, have passed your number to my friend/accountant as he needs plans. Im totally blown away"

3 planning applications submitted this week already with 2 more getting ready.

Very strange August so far, normally very quiet with people enjoying hols but this year it’s manic!

Heading into holiday season so after a busy June / July, things start to quieten down before a mad rush again in sept/Oct/nov.

Ironically this is a perfect time to get plans drawn and get planning permission in place by Autumn.

This then gives you the confidence to get the best builders booked in for next year. The better ones are already getting booked up now for spring 2019!

I currently have evening survey slots available next week before I close for holidays myself.

3 in 3 days! Buildings regs approval just come though for a replacement conservatory roof in Benton.

Wonder if next week will be just as busy. Currently offering 20% off during July so possibly!

Planning Approvals coming in thick and fast now. That's two in 2 days!. This one for a large double storey extension for a young family in Haltwhistle. We had a neighbour objection but the planning officer felt the extension, while large, was sympathetic to the host property and had no adverse affect on amenity of the neighbour. Great news and another family creating a new space to enjoy together.

Another planning and building regs approval through today for a sunroom extension to a bungalow in Killingworth Village conservation area. Great news for the client as no issues or objections reported.

When you survey a large (and fantastic) property for a client and spot something hiding under a cover in the garage. Client was very willing to show off his pride and joy!. Im not jealous, no, not at all!
