This is a Burlington Bathroom i built in 2019. I returned today to replace the sink top as it had started to stress fracture in the sink bowl. Burlington sent out a new top & upstand under its 10 year warranty, so i set about removing the old sink (very carefully) then drilled out the new sink to refit the tap. Then everything was refitted. While there, the shower enclosure and bath tub were given a silicone sealant refresh. Not bad for a 7 year old bathroom. A credit to the owners Lyndsey & James

Thats the shower enclosure all cladded, trimmed, sealed, mira shower and door reinstalled. This is ready to go!

Back on the shower job......
Using new 6x2 timbers, the 2 outer joists were glued with polyurethane and screwed to secure them in place. I extended the end under the exisiting floor to give added strength and also wedged it back onto the cross beam at the far end. This way they are as supported as can be. After marking out the waste trap and renewing the waste pipe, 6 inch t&g floor boards were cut and screwed in place. Once the floor had been prepped and primed, adhesive was mixed, spread onto both surfaces, the tray went in and vibrates down into position. Using plasterboard foam adhsive and tile boards, the 3 side were then levelled flush to the tile surface. Once everythings cured overnight, cleaning, sealing and cladding will begin as i get this shower enclosure back together.
