🌟 Update!🌟

Hello, everyone! It’s been some time, and I keep meaning to share this with you all. Since joining Incubate Printmaking in July 2023, I’ve redirected my focus towards traditional printmaking 🎨✨

Though Naruse Design remains a part of my artistic journey, you can look forward to more workshops and creative experiments from me in the upcoming months, rather than just the products from my brand.

I truly appreciate your ongoing support! 💖 Stay tuned for some exciting workshops ahead x

About

Hello I am Shiori Naruse, an artist designer, driven by curiosity and ambition and an admirer of all patterns. Founder of the Naruse Design studio, an energetic, experimental and bold design label that has the vision to create an ambience of nature inside the home. All of the products are unique creations designed by myself.

My work utilises both traditional and modern techniques, bringing together something truly unique. A story lies behind each and every design I create, my style is driven by a love of being outdoors in and around Japan, and the historic countryside of Northumberland.

Where art meets design: my mission is to create a sense of nostalgia and to evoke a feeling of serenity, calmness and to provoke joy. Life is full of pattern and my aim is to help you slow down and notice the beautiful colours and patterns that nature provides us.

My ethos is ‘less mass consumption, more unique creation’, I cherish my origins as well as the environment. I am proud to use personally sourced British and Japanese materials in all my work. All my products are ethically sourced and manufactured in the UK.
