After carefully consideration I have decided to stop trading Matt's fresh fish. I have been unable to get out to sea due to boat problems which has seen me laid up for the past 6 plus weeks and I now need to make the most of what fishing season there is left and sell to the market as I cannot afford to have days off to organise the private sales. I would like to thank everyone for their continued support through covid, and if by any chance I do decide to come back to selling i will update my facebook. Thanks once again.

Matt is back at sea!!! we have decided to change things slightly due to the lack of some fish and the amount of orders we had. From now on 2 days before matt lands we will put a post up of the fish we have available and the prices. I will also send this to your inboxes. Its then a first come first served basis as we were having to let some people down due to selling out. There will still be a range of fish but ALL FLAT FISH will now be either whole or de-headed and tailed for you. Dory and monk will still be filleted along with any white fish we have. We will continue doing the mixed bags and shellfish. Towards the end of this week we will have a delivery date. All fish orders can also be picked up from the pier. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PATIENCE :)

Due to a major break down unfortunately we will not be doing any deliveries this week, sorry for any inconvenience, we are not sure when the engine will be fixed but will put a post up when we’re back up and running.

Good morning due to the fresh weather we Havnt been able to get to sea this wk which is very frustrating as this is our main time of year and we should be at sea most days, hopefully the weather is improving after the wk end and we’ll be able to get out to supply you fresh Cornish fish 😀cheers Matt

Orders are flying out which is great to see 😀we have our main species again this trip, brill, lemon sole , ray , gurnards, megrim/sole, sand sole, monk, red mullet John Dory, line caught po***ck also a lovely sign of squid, octopus and cuttle fish. Also a limited supply of smoked white fish . Hopefully we will have a few haddock tonight. Also we will have some lobsters, spider crabs, crayfish and brown crab in . Make sure you put your order in soon to avoid disappointment. Thanks Matt

Good evening, glad to be back at sea after being tied up for a couple of wks, there’s plenty of flat fish this trip but no cod and very little haddock but we’ll be on the search for them tonight. We did have a nice 7-8 kg turbot which is always a nice bonus 😀
