This replacement dwelling in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside is conceived to nestle into the natural slope of the site. Its two main volumes are splayed to open up toward majestic views including Wentwood Forest and to maximise solar gains. The north and east elevations are mostly opaque for privacy and warmth, whilst the south and west elevations open up to create living spaces that embrace outdoor living.

This lovely couple signed up for a full architectural service to transform this semi detached bungalow into a family home with a rear extension, new front porch, and front and rear dormer loft conversions. We've worked with them from the beginning and are delighted to say after the tender process the job is set to start on site next week. We'll see them all the way through, dealing with the contractor on their behalf and administering the contract.
