North Hey was my own Self Build Project. We were very lucky to find this large 1940’s bungalow in Llandevaud with amazing views and then in the following year design and build the house we dreamed off. Contact me if you need planning permission for any work, building control, or just advice.

Permitted Development. A lot of extensions or building work to your house doesn’t actually need planning and comes under permitted development. The guide below is a good indication if your project is allowed. Please don’t forget, you will always need building control. If you are in need of advice, planning, design or building control please contact me

A lot of work and alterations people make to their houses come under permitted development so you don’t need to apply for planning permission. The attached guide from the Welsh Government shows what can be done. You will however always need Building Control approval. If in doubt or you have a project that does need planning and drawings please contact me.
