A quieter week this week, a bit of a rest before next weeks lorry load of shrubs 😂.. we have had more bulbs delivered, and now the ground is moist it’s a perfect time for planting.. the autumn flowering azaleas are just starting to flower as are the anenomes.. and we are selling a lot of grass seed, September is the perfect time for sowing it. We get quite a lot of visitors to the office area, many many many sparrows, a regular vole and shrew, and we actually managed to film a mole. As always open 9 to 5.30

We have had a busy week this week, preparing for our first lorry load of plants, Thursday the day was spent unloading, displaying and taking away the back up stock from the car park. Lots of lovely new things, 9 different hydrangeas, camellias, azaleas, stunning lavender, grasses, way too much to mention and another lorry load due in 2 weeks. It has been nice to see some rain, especially for the plants, they much prefer the rain to a hose pipe. Don’t forget sunnyside breakfast meet on Sunday morning, 8 till 10, should be lots of nice cars, a good social gathering and all for charity. As always open 9 to 5.30 daily.

And of course more watering 🌞…We are pumping so much water at the plants on a daily basis, there comes a point where there is no goodness left in the compost… lots of feeding this week to keep plants in tip top condition. And we were lucky enough to have a hummingbird moth visit our beautiful hanging baskets several times this week, amazing little creatures, a real treat to watch. As always open 9 to 5.30 daily.
