1000 Projects!

The second project we wanted to highlight as part of our 1,000 Projects reflection is this bungalow conversion in Cardiff.

This project involved a complete overhaul of the property, including two separate extensions to create a spacious open-plan kitchen diner and an additional bedroom. A feature gable window and bifold doors create a strong connection between the inside and outside spaces, while flooding the new living area with natural light.

The renovation also included a new roof and external render, giving the property a fresh contemporary appearance and a new lease of life. The result is a bright, modern home that better meets the needs of its owners while making the most of the available space and enhancing its overall character.

We were delighted to have been appointed to transform this beautiful restaurant in Penarth, bringing a fresh new vision to a truly spectacular coastal setting.

Boasting breathtaking sea views, the venue has been completely reimagined to create a stylish, welcoming destination for guests to relax, dine, and celebrate. We’ve recently reached a milestone with the appointment of our 1000th project!

As a practice we’ve been providing our services for 13 years and during that time we’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients, builders, and fellow consultants to help bring a wide range of projects to life — from home extensions and bespoke new-build homes to doctors’ surgeries, community spaces, and even the odd chapel.

Every project, regardless of size or sector, has played a part in shaping the practice and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted us along the way.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing a selection of completed projects, including before-and-after transformations, behind-the-scenes insights, and some of the stories behind the designs.

We hope they give a small glimpse into the journey each project takes from initial idea through to completion.

The first project we wanted to highlight was quite recent and involved a full renovation with a rear and dormer extensions.

This property was taken right back to brick, allowing us to completely reconfigure and modernise the home from the ground up. The project included a rear extension to create additional open-plan living space, along with the addition of dormers to maximise the upper floor footprint allowing us to achieve 2 additional bedrooms including a master suite with ensuite and large family bathroom.

Working alongside Tekton Developments Limited we delivered this amazing project for our client that they are now enjoying, and we hope will enjoy for years to come!

New Project....

3D visuals are such an important part of our design process. They allow clients to truly understand a space before construction begins, helping them visualise how layouts, extensions, fixtures, and finishes will work together in real life.

For this project, the visuals helped demonstrate how the extension would improve the overall flow of the room, while also starting early conversations around materials and design details.
