Nice reduction pollard today. Don’t usually like to cut a tree so drastically but when a tree is out growing its space it’s better to preserve it rather than take it down.

This large macrocarpa had been deemed unsafe by a tree officer, so sadly it had to be cut down.

Spent a day rigging a large back leaning limb out before we could safely fell her.

We called in some reinforcements; TW Trees brought their large 24inch chipper and 3 ton excavator which made this light work.

Lots of wood for projects and fire wood for the client!
