A successful launch was held by Master of the guild Mr Kevin Holbrook. Along with our honoured guests Ms. Laura Wilson and Mr. Ian Playstead of Formula plaster. The committee, wives and partners, formed a small gathering but lots to discuss and celebrate. We would like to thank the lovely Moyvalley Hotel in Co. Kildare for hosting us. A special thank you was noted to Mr Ray Deeks who certified the certificates for the committee. With Rays generosity and dedication to the trade made today’s launch possible, thanks Ray.

We now can welcome new members and make this guild grow for years to come. The criteria forms for the apprentice, Journeyman, Master and Industry member will be available soon.
A number of plasterers from the Co. Down area sadly no longer with us, will be honoured and their families will receive an industry members certificate in respect of their service to the trade.

This was a request brought to a meeting by Clerk of the guild Bernard Cunningham. He had either worked with or knew these individuals within the trade. To show others what the guild is about and show respect to these individuals. The National Plasterers Guild will be part of the plastering community throughout Ireland and other countries.

Some pictures will be posted soon of today’s proceedings.
