ANNOUNCEMENT.

I’m very pleased to announce that thanks to a busy last few months I’m now taking bookings from November onwards.

The diary for exterior work is unfortunately closed for the year due to unexpected demand for exterior jobs, which I thank all of my customers that have booked their slot and am sorry for those of you who unfortunately missed theirs.

The diary is now open for 2027 exterior work so do please get in touch if you’d like to secure a lot for next spring. Obviously if I do get a cancellation I’ll pop a little post up straight away.

It’s so lovely when a previous customer takes the time to write such a kind review. Means the world to me, and only having been in the business for a short time compared to other seasoned decorators, I’ve very proud that my customers are so pleased with the results that I produce.

Had the pleasure of completing this project recently on a beautiful old property in the heart of Bishopsteignton.

Given the age of the property, a huge amount of care and attention was required throughout. There was extensive preparation work involved, including repairing badly damaged windows and dealing with old, flaking masonry paint.

Everything was thoroughly jet washed, treated with a fungicidal wash, and stabilising solution, and then finished with a fresh coat of paint. The transformation has been incredible.

The customer wanted to achieve a Greek-inspired look, so we opted for Brilliant White on the walls, complemented by RAL 5002 blue for the detailing. The finished result looks stunning.

I’ll be sharing a few more photos once the scaffolding comes down from the side and rear of the property, but the customer is absolutely over the moon with the outcome—which is what matters most.

As an added bonus, she’s already booked me in for further interior decorating work in her kitchen, lounge, and dining room.

Big shout out to Matt from Brace Scaffolding for erecting the scaffold, despite being a very tricky place to get too. Thanks mate, once again a Stirling job

Big shout out to Steve Newton plasterer. He very kindly fitted an emergency render repair in for me in Teignmouth this last week. Nothing was too much trouble and he’s done a cracking repair job ready for me to prime and paint once cured. Certainly had its challenges, but using Steve’s years of experience he smashed it out and really helped me out.

Thanks Steve for fitting me in.

Delighted to be in Teignmouth today and tomorrow as the weather has slightly halted the work in Bishopsteigbton. Today I’m back working for one of my original clients and if memory serves it’s my 5/6 time back. This time sorting out two bathroom ceilings and a study, as well as their exterior garden wall.

Wall paper off, sanded back and Zinsser Gardz applied, all masked up to protect the lovely tiles, bath, sink etc, now on with the first coats.

Coming back for this number of times shows me that not only are the customers happy with my work but also trust me in their home and my process and results. Means the absolute world to me.

And this is why I love my job. Hard at times, long hours at times and always come across little problems to solve but when you get a comment like this from a customer it makes it all worth while.

Had the pleasure of starting this beautiful old cottage in the heart of Bishopsteignton this week.

Preparation is everything on exterior projects like this, so as always I’ve taken the time to do things properly — scraping back heavily weathered window frames and sills, protecting all surrounding areas, followed by a full clean and fungal wash and stabiliser before any paint goes on. I take a lot of pride in making sure the groundwork is right, because that’s what gives a long-lasting finish.

The property is going white with blue accents, which I think is going to look absolutely stunning once completed.

Managed to get the first coat of Zinsser Allcoat onto the lower windows, sills, front door and porch areas today, and I’m looking forward to making more progress next week.

Also, another cracking scaffold job from Brace — always appreciated.

Time now for a well-earned relaxing weekend.
