Here are some for reviving your lawn this Spring…

🪴 Start mowing your lawn regularly, but don’t cut it too short—aim for about 3–4 cm.

🪴 Rake the lawn to remove thatch and moss and to improve air circulation.

🪴 Introduce air to compacted areas by spiking the lawn with a fork or aerator.

🪴 Apply a spring lawn feed to encourage healthy growth.

🪴 Reseed any bare patches and keep them moistened for germination.

Weeds are sneaky! But with the right tricks, you can keep them under control. Here are a few tips…

🌱 Hand-pull w**ds after rain – the soil is softer, making it easier.

🌱 Try to get the entire root – grab the w**d close to the ground and pull straight up.

🌱 Mulch is your best friend – add a thick layer to stop w**ds from sprouting.

🌱 Avoid watering the w**ds – water your plants carefully avoiding the w**ds.

🌱 Deadhead perennial w**ds – remove flower heads to stop them reseeding.

🌱 Keep up with regular maintenance – a little and often stops big problems.

Spring is just around the corner! Now’s the perfect time to get your garden in shape before the growing season kicks in. Here’s a quick checklist to get started…

✅ Rake up any leftover leaves and debris

✅ Cut your grass as soon as it starts to grow

✅ Start w**ding to prevent spring growth

✅ Begin to loosen and turn the soil

✅ Consider a planting schedule and order in your bulbs for spring planting

✅ Book in for hedge trimming before bird nesting season (March to August!)

✅ Consider pressure washing hard surfaces such as your patio or decking

✅ Maintain your fences, gates and any trellis
