We’ve had a great day in Teignmouth today installing this wonderful Varde Aura 1 5kw log burner.

This sleek, modern Scandinavian style stove has been installed on a glass hearth, with TW Pro twin wall flue in Matt black.

A terrific Ecosy Hampton 5kw log burner installation in Paignton this week.

We have opened up the chimney back to the original builders opening, made good and plastered the walls, supplied and installed a bespoke slate hearth cut to suit the opening, lined the chimney with a 125mm stainless steel liner with stainless steel suspended cowl and register plate.
An audible Co alarm has been installed and this Ecosy stove also comes with a 7 year warranty.

This is the time of year to be having a log burner installation, before the long waiting lists start in September, book now and beat the winter rush.

OUCH!

Like all small businesses, over the last 18 months we’ve experienced the biggest increases in taxes and business expenses since we started trading.

Today these increase further.

Reluctantly we are now forced to alter our prices to accommodate this with a small price increase, our first in 4 years.

This is as infuriating for us as it is for you, we can only thank you for your understanding and continued support.

It’s not all lovely log burners, lots of boiler repairs this week too.

A lovely Ecozy Elk multi fuel stove installation today in Moreleigh.

The existing installation was damaged and had issues with the installation of flue. This has been removed, the chimney has been re-lined with a stainless steel 125mm flue liner and a new stainless steel cowl.

You may notice the stove pipe is twin wall, this is so the flue meets the required distance to combustibles with the wooden mantle. The previous installation did not which resulted in a fire.

Great fun out in Bovey Tracey this week. After locating a leak in the 100+ year old heating system on a buried steel pipe, we have been repiping the ground floor of this large home in 35mm copper.

A little out of the ordinary, but a great challenge with great results
