A project that truly tested everyone's patience, but one we're incredibly proud to finally share.
We started this garden transformation back in January, just as some of the wettest weather in recent memory arrived. Persistent rain and waterlogged ground conditions meant progress was regularly interrupted, turning what should have been a straightforward project into a much longer journey. Despite the challenges, our wonderful client remained patient, understanding and supportive throughout, and it was a pleasure working for her from start to finish.
The completed garden now features Marshalls Symphony porcelain paving in Senna, framed with Buff Farnley Setts and installed in accordance with British Standards specifications. A new corner seating area was created using the same sett border, surrounding a Breedon Golden Amber gravel feature to provide a warm and inviting space to relax.
A full-length step was installed to provide seamless access to the lawn, while two new entrance steps to the house were constructed and finished with Marshalls Stoneface Veneer in Harvest Mix, creating a striking contrast against the paving.
The old garden bed was removed and rebuilt using Class 4 treated sleepers, securely supported by recycled plastic posts concreted into the ground for long-term durability. The rose garden was also refreshed with a new Farnley Sett border and fresh gravel to complete the transformation.
Thank you again to our fantastic client for her patience and trust throughout this challenging project.
A big thank you to BAY SKIPS , Bradfords Building Supplies , Travis Perkins , Olympus Building Supplies and Marshalls Gardens and Driveways
