After much consideration I have decided to temporarily stop taking any new bookings for private work. If we’ve already talked about a job then don’t worry, I’m not cancelling anything. But having had an enforced 2 weekends in a row off work has made me realise how much I actually like being able to rest, do hobbies, spend time with my family etc. I never expected when I set this up that it would get so busy so quickly! I need a little break from trying to run this business alongside a very demanding full time job before I burn myself out completely.

Many apologies to everyone, I may reconsider after Christmas. Or I may not.

Today I met a bunny who tried very hard to completely ignore me while I changed a light switch, added a second garage light and put in a loft light.

Then I met a very good dog called Arthur who was extremely keen to help me change some downlights. Turns out dogs aren’t good with screwdrivers though so in the end he just watched.

We also replaced a *slightly* worse for wear outside socket, did some fault finding and added new remotes to some electric garage doors.

This weekend I decided that it was time my own house had a little care and attention! It’s amazing what a difference it makes to do even a simple thing like upgrading a basic white plastic pendant to one that coordinates with the shade.
