Today's photo is window number 2 from my mammoth hanging job. This gorgeous fabric has brought the garden's flowers inside. It's lined with a bonded fleece polycotton lining for it's thermal properties in this beautiful old house

I'm really excited to share the first of my mammoth hanging job. The fabric was lovely to work with and surprisingly easy to pattern match considering how thin the stripes were 🤣.
If you follow much of my work, you'll notice my customary trim disguising where I have extended these curtains for my lovely customer, from a second pair of curtains. I always love it if we can reuse and recycle existing curtains and fabrics.

I'm getting to spend the day hanging curtains and blinds with this rather fabulous human being.
Number 1 Son on the job. So far 8 windows done and not a cross word between us 🤣

I love that these fabrics are from 3 different customers I'm working with and they all combine so beautifully.

A pair of customer cushions completed this morning in a fine linen print with a chenille contrast fabric on the reverse.
If you only have enough fabric for one cushion, and you can find a contrasting textile, it's a lovely way to eek out the fabric to give yourself a matching pair. 🛋️

This little garden bird set just completed, will be wending it's way to Foggie Toddle Books in the next few days, to fill the space of the owl set that just sold 😀

A little curtain job fitted in, with thanks to my right hand woman, Elizabeth Wallace for hemming and pinning fabric and lining so I just had to stick the sides and see on the header this morning. Now back to my mega job which will be hung next week 😀.
This little job, consists of a small pair for a kitchen window and a single curtain for a window just off the kitchen, tying the two rooms together.

It feels like I've not been doing anything lately as I've nothing to show you, but mucho work has been happening behind the scenes... These curtains are all ready to hang as soon as the painters and joiners have finished 😀

Just before starting work this morning, I took 10 minutes out of my day to frame this. My daughter bought it home from school the other day and I could tell she was quietly proud of it (and I think it's amazing, the photo doesn't do it justice) so I've framed it to show how special it is. I find it very difficult to hang things on my wall, but this decision was easy ❤️ 🐦
