You might remember that back in September there was a lot of banter about the Tweed Cup. It wasn’t just about bragging rights for another year, so we won’t mention the winning team. More important is that we raised over £700 for the Scottish Borders Dementia Royal Volunteer Service.

This was in large part due to the generosity of the sponsors - Ainslie McLean Joiners, VB Décor Painters and Aidan Hume Design. Various fund-raising activities on the day boosted the total raised.

Pictured receiving the cheque from Aidan Hume, one of the sponsors and the new St Boswells Club Captain Andrew Gillan are Sharon and Dawn from the Scottish Borders Dementia Service - a local charity that rely on donations and external funding.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Tweed Cup, the volunteer bar staff and the people who supplied the food for the day and Andrew Gillan for putting it all together.

This bungalow replaces an outdated smaller bungalow that sat on the site. The sunroom projection to the front was designed to be in keeping with the adjoining properties. We will upload more photos once the roof trusses have been fitted. Watch this space!
