It's always good to check on our gardens throughout different seasons and months, the planting changes character so rapidly in the summer months. These photos were taken a few weeks ago, the early season bulbs having faded away and the late summer flowering perennials get a foothold in the borders - Eryngium agavifolium decked out in its pale green attire, ready to eventually turn golden in autumn; the Digitalis parviflora growing spires also beckoning the rusty tones of late summer, which happily echo the same iron rich tones of Northants' sandstone walls.
